McAfee Virusscan and AM.NET email

Several people who use McAfee Virusscan reported errors when sending emails from AM.NET. To solve this issue:

Open the McAfee Virusscan console

Double-click Access Protection

Double-click select the first rule corresponding to port 25 (default smtp port), called “Prevent mass mailing worms from sending email”

In the excluded processes list move the cursor to the end of the text and add: “,AMNETRunLan.exe,AMNETRun.exe” (Note that there are two commas.)
